Coach Carlos
Carlos is a sports enthusiast playing many disciplines ranging from basketball, mountain biking and all racket sports! After picking up Pickleball for the past 9 years he has moved himself up to a 4.5+ DUPR rating while still enjoying participating in multiple sports. He loves playing in tournaments and has won Gold and Silver medals in the Kelowna, Kamloops and Vernon tournaments within his category. Carlos is a veteran coach of 5 years sharing his expertise with hundreds of hours and players in his network. He has a deep passion and caring for teaching both those brand new to the sport and those who want to improve their game in a fun, positive way!

YLW members do not have to pay a court fee when booking. Standard Court booking fees applies for non-members when booking.

Coach Cheryl
Cheryl brings a lifelong passion for sport, learning, and connection to every session she leads. A former NCAA Division 1 soccer player in the U.S. and national champion with UVIC, she has also competed in badminton, field hockey, trail running, and more. With her background as a classroom and P.E. teacher, Cheryl has an ability to break down skills in a way that’s clear, encouraging, and fun. Once she discovered pickleball, she was instantly hooked on the strategy and social side of the game. She now enjoys competing in tournaments and helping others discover that same spark—building confidence, improving their play, and obviously having a great time on court!

Coach Michael
Michael has enjoyed racquet sports for most of his life, with a strong background in racquetball. Over the past five years, his focus has shifted fully to his sport of choice—pickleball.
He has competed extensively and earned numerous medals in tournaments across Kelowna, Kamloops, Vernon, Penticton, Peachland, Chilliwack, and Mexico, bringing valuable competitive experience to his coaching.
Michael is passionate about helping players of all levels improve their game. He brings energy, enthusiasm, and a player-focused approach to every session. His coaching emphasizes skill development, confidence, and enjoyment of the sport.
Whether you’re looking to stay active and try something new or aiming to elevate your skills and build lasting consistency, Michael is dedicated to helping you succeed on the court.
